Sora |

Sora is a 14-year-old-boy from the Destiny Islands. He has been living there all of his life with Riku and Kairi, and wants to leave and see other worlds with Riku and Kairi. It is very loyal and friendly; he wants to help. And is dragged into peril by being chosen by the Keyblade in Donald and Goofy?s search for King Mickey. Sora, on the other hand, is looking for Riku and Kairi in other worlds, after the Destiny Islands was hit by a violent and mysterious storm.  He, Riku and Kairi seek to get off Destiny Islands to another world with a raft. He is very aware of everything and is surrounded in mystery. Sora is the Keyblade Master. He is the one who locks the worlds. The pressure of all the worlds is put on him as for he must lock them all and defeat the darkness and its followers. |

Kairi |

Kairi is a happy girl, who has not spent her entire life in the Destiny Islands; She appeared the night of a meteor shower several years prior to the game, and has no memory of her home world. She is a devout fiend to Sora and Riku, and is always there for them. She wants to help Sora, but she is unable to. Kairi, she appears on the island mysteriously one day. Riku and Sora think she's from another world. She doesn't remember her old world and she herself would like to see it. Her heart is taken and Riku, after being able to use the power of the Darkness tries to get her heart back. She is a vital person for Maleficent, she is a princess of heart. |

Riku is a lifelong friend of Sora; he is revered by the other kids of the islands for his strength and agility, and as anyone who challenges him will see, he is a formidable opponent, but can be beaten. Riku can seem like the strong silent type, but is far from it; it is friendly and cheerful, and is on his own journey to find Sora and Kairi after the Destiny Islands were hit by the storm. Riku is a boy full of wonder, he enjoys life to the fullest. Riku was parted from Sora when their island was destroyed. Riku was soon found as soon he was being overtaken by the darkness thanks to Malecifant. Riku's heart is concealed from the light after he was taken by the darknes, Ansem had possed him as he needed a body. Riku was the true Keyblade Master before he fell into the darkness. |
